About the role

Keller Australia is currently seeking an experienced design and estimating manager to join our team in Brisbane.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate the design and estimating work required during projects, managing the production of technical designs. 
  • Review tender schedules and prepare cutting edge expressions of interest and tender submissions for major projects.
  • Identify potential projects in the marketplace and support by identifying requirements and conceptual design proposals.
  • Ensure tenders and budgets costs and productions are achievable, ensuring proposed works can be constructed safely.
  • Management of the design and estimating team during the full employment cycle including performance management.

About you

We are seeking candidates with the ability to drive performance excellence, strong leadership skills and a passion for the industry.

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • University degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience in design engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the civil and resources markets and contracting models.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and coordinate a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to aid in the development of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
